Living day by day, you are trapped in your mind, fighting a diffuse monster in your head that just keeps growing stronger. Until it's too much. All thoughts are abstracted. Nothing is literal. There is a way to beat it, but it won't be obvious. Maybe you just need to be patient, and the hidden pieces of yourself will become apparent. 

It's better than a score, anyways.

Controls:

• WASD - move/navigate menus
• Arrow Keys - Attack directionally
• Shift - Parry
• Spacebar - Roll
• E - Move from the shop scene
• (HOLD) Esc - Back to main menu

Health

• You start the game with a limited number of hit points
• There are very few ways of regenerating them
• The boss will increase in hitpoints and difficulty over time

Parry

• Your parry is delayed by half a second, so try and learn the boss'  attacks and make sure to anticipate!
• When you successfully parry, you gain combo
• You cannot parry the boss itself, however you can with his sweep attack

Roll

• Rolling completely negates attacks for a period of time
• You cannot change direction while rolling, so make sure to aim for somewhere free
• Attacking while rolling deals double damage
• Parrying  while rolling gives an extra 0.5 combo

Combo

• You gain combo by parrying
• You do not lose combo by being hit
• Combo increases your damage dealt to the boss
• Combo also multiplies the amount of points you earn
• You need to have high combo In order to score good points for the shop

Points

• You gain points by attacking the boss
• You gain 1 point per hit by default, but this is multiplied by your damage dealt times your combo level (which also affects damage dealt) so you get a lot of points from having a high combo level!
• If you are struggling to get enough points for the shop, try getting as many parries as possible to increase your combo 

Memories

• These are unique modifiers for your game
• You can purchase them at the shop between each day
• Hover over their icons to see what they do!
